<p dir="ltr"><b id="docs-internal-guid-6ff95177-7fff-a51e-05ed-35d0c3116caa">This letter is to inform you that we have received information from SFPUC about our drinking water at Hoover. Recent testing shows that some of the water fountains have a level of lead that is too high for consumption. </b></p>
<p dir="ltr"><b id="docs-internal-guid-6ff95177-7fff-a51e-05ed-35d0c3116caa">We have covered the affected water fountains with signage to ensure that students and staff do use them. There are 3 water fountains that are indicated as safe to drink: the one in the cafeteria, the one inside the gym (3rd Floor), the one at the floor of Building B and the one at the 1st floor corridor of Building S. </b></p>
<p dir="ltr"><b id="docs-internal-guid-6ff95177-7fff-a51e-05ed-35d0c3116caa">SFUSD Facilities are preparing to install filters within the affected water fountains, to make it safe for consumption.</b></p>
