<p>Good Afternoon,</p><p>This is Ms. Luna, Frances' English Language Arts teacher. I am emailing because I am concerned with Frances' current academic work and behavior in class. </p><p>She was out a few days last week when an Assessment project was due. She did not let me know that she would be gone ahead of time and so did not have the opportunity to explain what she should be working on.</p><p>And now as we begin out next unit, Frances has been off task and talking. Though she was able to complete the tasks eventually, she could have more indepth responses if taken more time. In addition, when talking, other students are then off task who don't always complete their work.</p><p>Due to Frances' behavior today, I have given her a lunch time detention this Friday.
