<p>Hello Hoover Community,</p>
<p>Hoover's Wellness team will be hosting a workshop to support families in creating Emergency Preparedness Plans. We will work through templates specifically designed to help families make plans for responding to immigration-related emergencies. These plans are also useful in planning for a variety of unexpected situations. </p>
<p>Preparedness plans help families think through childcare plans, immigration options and location of documents. They also share information on relevant rights and resources. </p>
<p>The workshop will take place on <b>Thursday, November 6th </b>from <b>4:30 - 6:00pm </b>in Hoover's <b>Family Room.</b> There will be a virtual option available as well. <b>Translation for Spanish and Chinese will be available</b>. </p>

<p>El equipo de Bienestar de Hoover llevará a cabo un taller para apoyar a las familias en la creación de Planes de Preparación para Emergencias. Trabajaremos con plantillas diseñadas específicamente para ayudar a las familias a elaborar planes de respuesta ante emergencias relacionadas con temas de inmigración. Estos planes también son útiles para planificar una variedad de situaciones inesperadas.</p>
<p>Los planes de preparación ayudan a las familias a reflexionar sobre la planificación del cuidado infantil, las opciones migratorias y la ubicación de documentos importantes. También comparten información sobre derechos y recursos relevantes.</p>
<p>El taller se llevará a cabo el jueves 6 de noviembre, de 4:30 a 6:00 p. m., en el Salón Familiar de Hoover (aula C13). También habrá una opción virtual disponible. Se ofrecerá traducción al español y al chino.</p>
