<p>Lucifer scoffed into the sheets. "Great. So go be graceful somewhere else."</p>
<p>Alastor shrugged, turning swiftly on his heel.</p>
<p>"But you." Alastor went on lightly, tapping his cane, "Are not like me."</p>
<p>Lucifer turned his head just enough to narrow his eyes at him. "What the hell is that supposed to mean?"</p>
<p>Alastor didn't answer.</p>
<p>He simply stepped closer to the door. Clearly intending to leave now. Then hesitated at the handle.</p>
<p>Not looking back, he added quietly,</p>
<p>"I doubt solitude is what you want right now."</p>
<p>Lucifer froze.</p>
<p>Because it was correct, and Lucifer absolutely hated being read with such accuracy. Especially by someone as insufferable as the bellhop of the hotel.</p>
<p>OR</p>
<p>After destroying Vox's deadly weapon, the hotel was more packed than ever before.</p>
<p>But there were two demons who weren't up to their full strength. Two demons who truly despised each other.</p>
