<p>Hello 8th Grade Students and Families,</p>
<p>The Winter Star Testing window for 8th graders officially opens up next week.</p>
<p>Starting on Tuesday, January 13th, students will take the Star Reading test in their English Language Arts (ELA) and English Language Development (ELD) classes. </p>
<p>The following week, starting on Tuesday, January 20th, students will take the Star Math test in their math classes. </p>
<p>Make up test sessions for students who are absent on testing days will be happening periodically up until the close of the testing window on February 4th*.</p>
<p>*Please note that <strong>only the first</strong> Winter Star Reading & math results will count towards Lowell admissions and will be reflected in student reports. </p>
<p>Students, make sure you have your Chromebook and chargers handy for the testing days.</p>
