<p dir="ltr">Dear SFUSD Community,</p>

<p dir="ltr"><strong>All SFUSD schools will be closed to students on Monday, February 9.</strong> I recognize that this is very difficult news, and am writing to provide additional information and resources to support your student’s continued learning during school closures due to a strike.</p>

<p dir="ltr">Labor negotiations will continue over the weekend and we hope that a strike can be avoided. We are working with urgency to reach a resolution that supports our educators while protecting the educational and safety needs of our students.</p>

<p dir="ltr">In the meantime, please see the information and resources below so that you can begin planning for next week.</p>

<h2 dir="ltr"><strong>Learning Continuity</strong></h2>

<h2 dir="ltr"><strong>High School Students</strong></h2>

<h3 dir="ltr"><strong>CCSF Dual Enrollment Students</strong></h3>

<p dir="ltr">For the approximately 800 high school students who are taking a Dual Enrollment CCSF course (online, at a CCSF campus, or at their own high school), CCSF courses will continue next week while schools are closed. Students are encouraged to attend these courses. For courses that normally meet in an SFUSD building, nearby alternate locations are being provided by CCSF. Students should check their SFUSD email and their CCSF email for the most current information and updates. Students should also be sure to check their Canvas accounts and reach out directly to their instructor for any support on keeping up with their course responsibilities. We appreciate our partnership with CCSF and their ability to pivot and maintain learning continuity for our students. </p>

<p dir="ltr">In addition, students enrolled in TRST Credit Recovery courses—either online or at the CCSF Mission campus—will continue with their current schedules, and classes will remain unchanged.</p>

<h3 dir="ltr"><strong>Mission Bay Hub Program Students</strong></h3>

<p dir="ltr">The Mission Bay Hub program courses will not be happening while schools are closed.</p>

<h3 dir="ltr"><strong>High School Credit Recovery Classes</strong></h3>

<p dir="ltr">All High School Credit Recovery (HSCR) classes, including evening, Saturday and asynchronous courses, will be <strong>paused</strong> while SFUSD schools are closed. Students can continue to work on assignments that are already posted and/or are available to them. The HSCR program and schedule will be adjusted accordingly so that students will be able to earn their credits. Classes scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday, February 7) <strong>will</strong> take place as scheduled.</p>

<h2 dir="ltr"><strong>Family Resources</strong></h2>
