1. How Much Is A Night Post Partum Doula?

JJTwins - 11/30/2011 3:32 pm
I've been quoted from $25/hr to $45/hr. Is this the
normal range for anyone who's had a post partum doula
for twins?

We're actively searching for a daytime nanny and not
sure where to look aside from this website. Has anyone
found a nanny through an agency? Which did you use and
what was your experience? Thanks so much for your
help! We're a little lost!

We use Care.com. You can subscribe for 3 months for
$60 and view profiles, background checks, and
recommendations for all the nannies using the service.
You can post a job, and sort through the applications,
or you can just search for nannies in your area and
contact the ones that you like. We found 2 nannies and
4 babysitters in two different cities using Care.com -
All excellent. Good luck!

4. Ideas for Santa activities in SF?
--------------------------------------------------------
nodelmonkey - 11/30/2011 9:14 am
I am looking for something fun to do with my six month
old girls in regards to Santa. Photos at the mall or
dept store are one obvious option but I also found this
old post (from 2008) of other things to do in the city
and am wondering if anyone knows of a more updated
(2011) list or has heard of one off ideas that might be
interesting? For ex., the Santa story time zoo event
posted here looked perfect but they don't appear to
have that anymore according to the zoo website. Maybe
other events listed here are still current but I'd be
interested to find out if anyone has done them
recently?

Santa will be coming to the Haas-Lilienthal House
(Victorian house museum in Pac Hts.) during their open
house this Sunday, 12-3 p.m. Santa usually comes
around 2, and mixes and mingles with the guests, and
usually sits in a chair near the beautiful 13-ft
Christmas tree for pictures.More info on the event
here: www.sfheritage.org or you can feel free to
contact me (I worked there for years.) Maybe we'll
see you there! Cheers~

With subject line: "Ref#64464660 - Reminder: SFPOM Holiday,
Fundraising Event I do firmly believe that their is a
twin-energy-vortex that exists when both are together
and in good/normal spirits (e.g. not sick) and it's
incredible what that single baby is like alone...but
alas, we have to figure out ways to manage with
twins!My vote - head outdoors 2x/day.Kristen
