if you haven't yet bought a moses basket, buy a
 lalapanzi -

 http://www.lalapanzibeds.com/Eco%20Friendly%20Beds.htmit
was one of the very best purchases we made! our twin
girls slept in it together when they were swaddled and
little and i could effortlessly move it around the
house. we actually brought it to the hospital and they
slept in it with my husband in room after the birth on
the pull out couch/bed with him. we still use it
beside the bed at night at 7 months, though we're
getting near the end. the girls are about to start
crawling out of it. after the girls have grown out of
it, i'll use it for stuffed animals and dolls in their
room for them to play with. hope that helps. i have
love, love, loved this item. best, jen

oh, ps - when buying a pack and play (comes in various
 colors -

 http://www.mystrollers.com/shop/product.aspx?sku=1761595)i
highly suggest buying the square one. the lalapanzi
can go it, a baby einstein

fits in it. the square ones are much, much more useful
than the rectangular ones. your twins can play together
in it - it's big enoughwe have two of them. our girls
can really roll around and play in them.best, jen
