My girls are 6 months, and we have just separated them
into separate cribs a few days ago. They now have a lot
more space to move around, but seem to stay in a
corner... however they are now rolling over onto their
bellies. One of my girls rolls over in her sleep and
is uncomfortable or can't roll back. I go in and turn
her over without picking her up, and she again goes
back to her belly. My girls are usually good sleepers
-through the night. Should I let her figure it out? or
do I continue to roll her back. Last night she was
fussy trying to roll over for about 45 minutes (maybe
longer), I eventually gave in and went in to console
her. She nursed and then went back to sleep. I DON'T
want to make a habit out of this as she usually sleeps
through the night without a problem. Help! Not sure
what to do here...

Ask your pediatrician. If I remember correctly, our
ped said to stop swaddling them when they rolled over,
but to not roll them back.

We're serious campers/backpackers/snow campers and live
in Tahoe. We took our toddlers camping when they were
19-months. The hardest parts were: 1) Keeping an eye
on them while they ran around the site putting
everything in their mouths (e.g. trash from previous
campers!) I pulled a bottle cap out of one's mouth and
a "do not eat" packet from the other's mouth. There is
SO much to do to get set up and cooking that it's
really hard to keep a close eye on them unless you're
in a large group and have little responsibility. 2)
It's still light as day at bedtime and when we put them
in the pack
