I am running B2B with my twins for the third year in a
row, and my nanny is not likely to join us. So it will
just be the girls and I!I would welcome running with
another Mom and their kids. We are dressing up in
Mardi Gras attire - fully decking-out the double Bob
stroller!Let me know if you will also be running and
would like to connect! We will be running fairly
slowly - around a 10 minute mile. Dr. Karen HortonMom

2. Gray (dead) front tooth in my 2-year-old daughter!

Has anyone experienced a dead tooth in their daughter
(or son)? One of my twins has obviously had trauma to
one of their front teeth and it has died. She is not
experiencing any problems and no injury was witnessed.
We are waiting to see the Dentist, whose office has
assured me it is nothing to worry about unless an
abscess develops, which would result in an extraction
(pulling the front tooth). I am a Plastic Surgeon so I
have some knowledge about teeth and bone development
(in adults), but I am also a MOM and I would appreciate
hearing others' advice and experience! It is obviously
upsetting to know my daughter had an unknown injury
that resulted in this event. Thanks in advance.Dr.
Karen HortonMom to 2-year-old twin girls 1. Being hydrated- don't sit
down
without big water bottle next to you.2. Eating well and
a lot (keep snacks on table beside where you BF)3- lots
of sleep (I know- ha!). I got a solid 4-5 hr stretch by
sleeping through the first feed of day. I'd wake, eat
and pump and an hour before babies did-we had them on a
3 hr schedule (except during growth spurts). My husband
would use this milk for their feed the next day (and
I'd still have enough for when they woke.)4.
Supplement. I don't nap well, so my milk was low in
evenings when I was way too tired. I had to supplement
right before bed during growth spurts and later when I
wanted them to sleep through night (6-7 months old for
us. If they weren't premies, this would have been 4-5
mths.) Good luck and congratulations! Sent from my iPad

Our former nanny (was with us 2.5 years until kids
started preschool) is currently training to be a doula,
and she has TONS of twins experience and has been doing
a lot of work recently with newborns and infants to get
her hours for certification. She is not yet certified,
but she's absolutely wonderful (and can't charge as
much as a certified doula would!). Please search for
Jennie Cassasa on the forums -- I've posted about her
before with glowing recommendations. She currently is a
nanny for twin babies on Thursdays and Fridays only.
