1. How long to breastfeed?

Hi all:I'm curious how long most twin moms breastfeed.
I understand there are various reasons and perspectives
on this topic so open to hearing all ideas. My twins
are going to turn 6 months in 2 weeks and I'm not sure
how long I want to continue for. Do they benefit from
breast milk as they get older the same way they do when
they are younger? My production has definitely
increased over the last 1-2 months and I'm in a groove
but it does take quite a bit of energy sometimes to
pump at work.

Hi all:Hope the week is going well. Just wanted to ask
the twin parents their opinion on some sleeping issues
we are having with our 5.5 month old boy. Our girl is
sleeping just fine, just took out her swaddle on Monday
for the first time and sleeps through the night. We put
them down around 8 and she sleeps until 630-7. As for
our son, he's a fighter when it comes to sleep. He
usually, sleeps at 830ish after his last feed (which is
around 730-8pm) and starts whining (not full on crying)
at 2am, we go to his crib and just comfort but if he
starts to full on cry we will take him out and rock him
to sleep and put it him back in the crib. We do that so
we don't wake up his sister. After 2am, he wakes again
at 4am and at that time, his eyes are usually wide open
so we bring him to our bed and he eventually falls
asleep after some comforting (pacifier and putting our
hand on his chest). He then wakes at 630-7 so we are
pretty much in/out of sleep through the night. What do
you all suggest? I'm out of ideas. Our night nanny has
suggested we try the Ferber method of Sleep training
and she would be willing to help with it. We never
introduced dream feeds and our drs and nanny has said
to not introduce that since we will be taking a step
back. He's not a big sleeper throughout the day, total
naps 3, sometimes 4 which total to less than 2 hours
total for the whole day.

Just to be clear, we don't have a night nanny but still
very close to her so we call her for advice every now
and then. We have a day nanny and her recommendation
has been to let him cry it out. She noticed he does
like to sleep on his stomach throughout the day. We
still swaddle him at night (unlike his sister) because
he moves around so much and his movement might affect
him during the night. Anyway, open to suggestions.
Thank you!

If it happens on occasion, then I feel like there's
really nothing that can be done on either her part or
yours. It's almost like an "act of god." Unless it
happens every week and becomes an excuse. But MUNI
