 For the last 7 months we've worked with two doulas both
 for night help and some day help 3 x week. We are now
 looking for full time nannies. We interviewed
 candidates and liked 2, so embarked into 3-day trials
 with each. The first we aborted after day 2.What I need
 is some help with is the distress I feel having someone
 new in the house. It is unavoidable if we are to have a
 new caregiver, I know. Yet I feel tense. Today is day 1
 of trial #2, and I feel less tense than with the first
 person, but still I notice I am mentally and physically
 exhausted. Some of it is that I am (rightfully) asked
 about specifics on how the house and baby routines run,
 and I notice a lot of what we do we just do, that is,
 there is a base behaviour and a bunch of exceptions
 depending on how the babies are doing. Somehow I feel
 judged. Foo.Could you share with me your experience
 with nanny trials? What worked for you?
