I am cleaning out more than 2 laundry baskets full of
toys and there are specific toys & mats that are
especially good for babies/toddlers with low and high
tone as well as sensory issues. There are too many to
post so please contact me and just let me know what
you're looking for. I'll also post in classifieds.

Topic: Does nanny make up 1 hr if asked to leave 1 hour
early?

Our nanny asked us to guarantee 50 hrs/wk, so we agreed.

Yes, she is right. If you ask her to leave early, if
you take vacation, etc. she gets paid for all of those
 hours/days/weeks.

It's true, that if you ask to cut time short, go on
vacay, etc, then you would still need to pay. If she is
flexible & agreeable, you can see if she would be
willing to make up in the same pay period. On the flip
side, if she asks for an hr off or time off and she is
hourly, she could use sick time (if you live in SF, she
accrues 1 hR/ 30 hrs she works). If she exhausted sick
time and is asking to be off (& is hourly) I believe
you are not required to make up the time. This info is
