Don't do it! The altitude made me very sick when I was
preg with my twins. I left after one day and as soon as
I got to sea level, I was fine again. The doctor told
me NOT to go again when I told her what happened. It's
not worth the risk. Sent from my iPhone

Like Jessica said above, everybody approaches it
differently based on their experience and based on the
way the babies are. for instance our babies liked the
solids (cereal) right the way so I give food to them in
the high chair before the bottle since they seam happy
but if they were fussy and frustrated because hungry I
would use a different approach. and as soon as they
dont enjoy anymore sitting and eating with the spoon I
move them and bottle feed them (when me and my husband
we each take one and feed, when there is the nanny she
moves them to the bouncy and feed them there, they
still dont eat well the bottle in the high chair). You
have to modify according to the situation. I had the
same questions for my 6 months old B/G. Yesterday we
went to the doctor for the 6 months vaccine and ask it
all. he must be used to these specific questions
because he had all the answers already written down in
a printed paper :-), he is AWESOME, we really like our
pediatrician.Food from 6-12 month is purely educational
and experimental only intended to get them use to
different flavor and textures and not intended to
replace milk or formula. The frequency and amount of
solid food a baby will take depends on your baby
affinity for taking solids and your tolerance to mess.
THERE IS NO PREDETERMINED SCHEDULE OR AMOUNT THAT A
BABY NEEDS TO TAKE AT THIS AGE. During this 6 months we
are exposing the babies to different tastes textures to
teach them how to eat from a spoon work food though
their mouth and swallow. Adverse reactions to food
include vomiting diarrhea and hives. Talking to him
totally put my anxiety at ease, our babies like to sit
in high char and use the spoon so we will put them
there more than just twice a days as we were doing
(morning for cereal and lunch for veggies) and let them
decide how much they want. As soon as I see that they
get frustrated, especially my boy, I stop and bottle
feed them, I do not want the experience that starts as
fun to become adverse. this is how is working on our
experience but again I think that there is not a
general role. We started with cereal and now we are on
the veggies. Our doctor recommend that we explore all
possible veggies for the next three months or so then
introduce protein and only after the fruit. this
because if they taste the sweetness they may not like
as much other taste. Also he said no to juices they do
not need now. I agree with that and this was my plan
even without his suggestion but this is not a role this
is what our doctor suggest but everybody does
differently and seams to work well as long as us (
 parents) are happy and relaxed.
