[House] Important Update: Members' Month, Marathons, and Monkeys!

Members' Month has been a huge hit, with more than 1,000 members visiting the Zoo
for exclusive Zoo access, FREE carousel rides, and FREE coffee and pastry on Sundays
in October from 9 to 10am.

We hope you'll stop by and visit us for our next Members' Morning on October 20,
 but please keep in mind that the Nike Women's Marathon will be occurring at that
time and may impact your travel plans to the Zoo. On Sunday morning starting at 
7am, Skyline Blvd. (both directions) will be closed from Sloat Blvd to John Muir
 Drive. Lake Merced Blvd (southbound only) will be closed from Sloat Blvd to Brotherhood
Way. The Great Highway will also be closed all day.  Access to Sloat Blvd from the
south will be on Lake Merced Blvd northbound.

There will be access to the Zoo on Sloat Blvd and to the rear of the Zoo on Skyline
Blvd and Herbst Road. We will have an exit lane on the Great Highway northbound 
to Sloat Blvd.
We hope to see you this Sunday, but please plan your travel accordingly!

Special Members' Morning Keeper Talk

Stop by for this week's Members' Morning (October 20, 9-10am) for a special Keeper
Talk at 9:30am in the Primate Discovery Center in front of the François' langur 
exhibit. The Zoo's animal keepers will be on hand to answer questions and talk to
Zoo Members about our family of langurs, including Romo, who just celebrated her
 first birthday!
