 FYI-There is a SF Dept of Public Health Advisory out
 regarding a rabid bat that was found in the Richmond
 district. Approximately 25% of bats carry rabies in
 this area, so always steer clear of bats and report any
 bat sightings to Animal Care and Control.Rabid Bat
 FoundHealth Advisory Issued October 22, 2014At the
 Community Garden, 15th Avenue and FultonA live bat with
 rabies was found at the Community Garden located at
 15th Avenue and Fulton on Sunday, October 19, 2014. A
 bat was also seen in the neighborhood on Saturday,
 October 18, 2014.If you, your child, or your pet had
 contact with any bat on Saturday, October 18 or Sunday,
 October 19, 2014, please call the San Francisco
 Department of Public Health, Communicable Disease
 Control Unit at (415) 554-2830 as soon as possible.
 After hours, please follow the prompts to page the
 on-call physician.Avoid all contact with wild animals;
 do not touch bats even if they appear dead. If you find
 a sick or dead bat call Animal Care and Control at
 (415) 554-9400.
