 If you've been thinking of volunteering for the Club -
 now's your chance!! We have more openings available
 than ever before, and can REALLY use your help. Please
 let me know ASAP if you're interested in any of the
 following positions, all of which come with benefits
 (not to mention the good karma!!) - and most of which
 can be done mostly or entirely from home, on your own
 time:MEMBERSHIP COORDINATORThe main task is to add new
 members to our BigTent site. All membership renewals
 are done automatically on a rolling basis. The most
 time consuming part is verifying new members. We've
 occasionally had situations where nannies posed as
 parents of twins/multiples to promote themselves. Thus,
 we now run an online check on the applicant to
 determine that: they live where they say they do, and
 they have had/are going to have twins/multiples. The
 MC also handles adding spousal memberships and other
 BigTent housekeeping tasks. The time commitment varies,
 but on average is about ½ -1 hour per week.OTHER
 OPEN POSITIONS - inquire for details (all position
 holders have exceeded their terms and are ready to be
 replaced):* PRESIDENT* VICE PRESIDENT* SECRETARY* MEALS
 FOR NEW PARENTS COORDINATOR* WEBMASTER* PHILANTHROPY
 CHAIR (particularly needed for around the holidays)This
 Club is only as strong as its members who volunteer. 
 It's a great way to meet wonderful people, and help
 other parents at a time when they really need support. 
 If you have ANY time to spare (please know that most of
 us parent, work outside the home, and have other
 obligations as well) PLEASE consider participating in
 the Club. Our current Board is "aging out" - our kids
 are largely in kindergarten now - and not so in touch
 with matters of concern to the bulk of our members
 needing the most support, in that 0-2 range. PLEASE
 JOIN US!! THANK YOU!!
