Hi Petr,I'd like to bring food by for this family. This
was a valuable and comforting service by our group when
my daughter passed away. I'm so incredibly saddened to
hear this news. Please also tell this family that
Hospice by the Bay provides grief counseling if/when
they are ready. They offer a sliding scale.

If they are accepting meals I would be happy to make
 one. Emily

Topic: Nanny - twin experience a must?

This might sound like a silly question, but is twin
experience a must for a nanny...

i stayed home with my twins for the first three years
with no additional help (other than my husband on
nights and weekends). agree with the comments above. i
would also add general resiliance (the stretches of
in-stereo crying are something else), overall physical
and emotional well-being (it's exhausting work), and
maturity (to remain calm and collected despite the
in-stereo crying jags). plus willingness to just
roll-up her sleeves and do whatever needs to be done on
any given day!the fact that this nanny you mentioned
already knows your older kids seems like it would be a
huge bonus! the older kids are going to go through a
huge shift for a number of months. good luck!
