1. Volunteer cooks needed

 Our Club is looking for volunteers deliver a meal to
 parents of new babies. We all know how crazy and
 exhausting the first months with a new babies can be,
 so let's help our fellow parents of multiple children
 out with a bit of help. Even if you can only deliver a
 one meal, we need you! If you like, we would appreciate
 you continued help delivering to others who may be in
 need. You may deliver a meal you either cook yourself
 or purchase. If you like, the club will reimburse you
 for the costs of the meal. This can also be a social
 opportunity, so feel free to visit for a while, if you
 are invited. Send me an email at

 volunteers.

 Oh, that's my theme :)We have 2 years old boy and girl.
 When they were born and almost till they were one, I
 was pretty sure we are done. I hated how everybody told
 how twins are prefect, because I go through everything
 only once, because everything was so difficult. And
 then, when they were about 9 months old, somehow I
 started thinking that maybe I would like to have
 another baby. The idea periodically comes and leaves.
 When they were 22 months I actually felt very strong
 urge to get pregnant and we even had unprotected sex
 once. The following month was nightmare and flying on
 the happiness. I was very tired, I was supersensitive
 and emotional, I felt cramps... all the thing that
 usually wouldn't mean anything but all together were a
 signs of pregnancy. I still didn't believe it very much
 until I got feeling that there was milk in my breast
 and that freaked me out. That was the deal breaker. I
 got SO TERRIBLY scared that the pregnancy was for real
 and I can't do anything anymore. And I realized I
 didn't want to be pregnant. I didn't want to go through
 pregnancy and newborn and the baby phase again. No, no,
 no, no. And I couldn't understand what made me think I
 wanted another baby.I come out I wasn't pregnant. I
 guess all the signs were just my imagination, looking
 for them. But it showed me that dreaming is one thing
 and being pregnant another. So at this point, we are
 too comfortable to have another kids. And too scared.
 I'm scared to lose the main advantage of having twins
 the same age. I'm scared to get outnumbered. With
 twins, I can hold each kid in one hand and have
 backpack, but how would I do it with three kids? How
 would we fit in the car? In the airplane? In our
 apartment? Of course, we could make it work if we would
 have to. But if we can choose we choose not to.And one
 more thing, I seems to me, like I want another kid only
 a few days in the month. It is around ovulation. So for
 me, I'm pretty sure it is only hormones talking :)

 Thanks so much for the great tips! Based on your input,
 we have decided to split the trip with a week in the
 city and a week at the beach. You mention renting a
 car, which we hadn't planned on (and we weren't
 planning to bring our car seats). Do you think this is
 necessary? Thanks again!!! Karen
