 I am just expecting my twins this fall but in
 preparation have been reading a number of sleep books.
 My favorite by far is "Sleeping through the Night" by
 Jodi Mindell. She is a clinical psychologist and sleep
 specialist at Chikdren's Hospital of Philadelphia. It's
 very well written, easy to digest, and includes up to
 date research and current best practice. She offers a
 very balanced approach to helping infants learn to
 soothe themselves to sleep and also talks about sleep
 issues in toddlers, older kids, and adults.
