ZooLights 2016
Begins Friday, December 16
Experience the wonder of the holiday season under beautiful and bright lights with singing carolers, reindeer and Santa at ZooLights (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=7aa6d812d4&e=7683a9aed3) , December 16-30! Explore Reindeer Village and Winter Wonderland, go for a ride on Little Puffer and Dentzel Carousel, and enjoy warm food and drinks from 5:00-8:00 pm. During opening weekend, December 16-18, SF Zoo is partnering with PLAE Shoes to offer a complimentary pair of kids' shoes to the first 1,000 children with paid admission, while sizes and supplies last. For every pair of shoes distributed, SF Zoo and PLAE will donate a pair of shoes to charities for children! Don't forget, SF Zoo Members and Guardians receive complimentary admission as a BENEFIT for belonging!

Meet Our Howler Monkey Infant
SF Zoo's family of howler monkeys continues to grow! On Monday, December 12, an infant was born to mother "Lincecum" and father "Robin Williams". Since 2015, the pair have had three offspring. Check out the adorable infant and brothers at the Doelger Primate Discovery Center.

Become a Docent
If you're looking for something meaningful to do with your extra time, consider becoming a docent. Attend the Docent Program Informational Event (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=474225fc23&e=7683a9aed3) on Saturday, January 14 from 10:00-12:00 at the Lurie Education Center at SF Zoo. Anyone interested should have a love for animals and the ability to share information with others. We'll teach you everything else! Dynasty Glass Gallery
San Francisco-based Dynasty Glass Gallery will be at SF Zoo on Saturday, December 17 from 1:30-6:00 pm in the Main Gift Shop to showcase and answer questions about their handmade glass process. Stop by and see some of the newest animal pieces for sale and learn more about the detail and design that goes into each piece.

Toy and Food Collection
SF Zoo is giving back to the community and you're invited to join in the fun! We're collecting new, unwrapped toys for San Francisco Firefighters Toy Program and canned food for SF-Marin Food Bank. Toy collections bins are located in the main Gift Shop and Membership Office and food collection bins are located in the Lemur Cafe and Membership Office. Thank you for your generosity this holiday season!

Winter Zoo Camp
There are spots still available December 26-30 for the "coolest" day camp in town - Winter Zoo Camp!
