See the Zoo in a Whole New Light
Experience the wonder of the holiday season under beautiful and bright lights with singing carolers, reindeer and Santa at ZooLights (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage2.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=a38b25262e&e=7683a9aed3) , running through December 30! SF Zoo is open every day for the community to enjoy the 100-acre park, conservation center, living classroom and Zoo! Visit our reindeer before they head back to the North Pole, watch grizzly bears forage for food at the 10:30 feeding, and burn off energy at the Elinor Friend Playground. Introducing Our Kudu Infant
Meet our newest addition to the kudu herd! The female calf was born Wednesday, November 30 to first-time mother "Madison" and both are doing well. Depending on the day and the weather, you may spot the infant and the rest of the herd in the African Savanna during your next visit.

As the San Francisco Zoological Society closes the calendar year, we reflect on a host of accomplishments! Two new animal exhibits, two species saved and a 40th anniversary celebration of Nature Trail kicked off by U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein at ZooFest are just a few. Become a Docent
If you're looking for something meaningful to do with your extra time, consider becoming a docent. Attend the Docent Program Informational Event (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=51ab1c5889&e=7683a9aed3) on Saturday, January 14 from 10:00-12:00 at the Lurie Education Center at SF Zoo. Anyone interested should have a love for animals and the ability to share information with others. We'll teach you everything else! Wild Walks
SF Zoo offers public, private and VIP Wild Walks, ranging from one hour to 90 minutes every weekend! Walks start at just $7 for members and $10 for non-members. Each tour is filled with fun facts, animal stories and animal encounters that will make you feel like a Zoo insider!
