Dear TK Families,                                             10/5/16



Hello!  Tomorrow is PICTURE DAY.  I know you will be disappointed to hear
that the children will be wearing Sheridan Sweatshirts for their class
photo.  If they don’t have their own, they will borrow one for the photo.
That’s the rule here for the school photo.  In the Spring there is usually
a free dress photo day.  Send $$$$



We made applesauce with all the wonderful apples we had for snack.  Please
ask your child to tell you all about how we cut, stirred, cooked, and
smashed the apples, and then added water, cinnamon, and sugar.  YUM!!!!!!!

The Art teacher (Ms. Christy) comes on Thursdays.  She taught the children
about warm colors (yellow, red, orange), and cool colors (purple, green,
blue). They paint with watercolors!

REMEMBER: We do NOT allow cake or cupcakes or any food at all for
birthdays.  You can bring a small goody bag or toy for each child in the
class if you want.  We have 12 girls and 8 boys.



Once a week, your child is the TABLE TEAM CAPTAIN.  That means they get the
materials (crayons, markers, etc) for work time, and then clean up the
table at the end of work time.



There is no school next MONDAY October 10—it’s a holiday.



On Thursday Oct. 20 we will have SHERIDAN MATH NIGHT.  I think it’s at 5:00
but I’ll check.  More info to come.



Monday October 31 is our HALLOWEEN celebration and parade.  Please come!
It’s at 9:30 am.  Children can wear costumes. You can bring your child at
7:50 and just stay for the whole morning!!
