Dear TK Families,                     September 28, 2016



Hello!  Everything’s fine, thanks for all the snacks and the friendly
hellos in the mornings and the afternoons. We still could use some more 3M
SCOTCH BLUE PAINTERS TAPE, since the students use a lot of tape on their
projects.



We’re doing pretty well with PAX—no fighting, using words to express
feelings.  These children do very well playing together!  I love to see
everyone play with different people, boys, girls, different home languages,
we all get along.



PICTURE DAY IS COMING!  Next Thursday, October 6.  PLEASE SEE THE ENVELOPE
here in the Wednesday folder, and return it with your choice of package,
and $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$  before Oct. 6 or that day.



Also here is your child’s first WRITER’S WORKSHOP “Handy Dandy Notebook.”
Please have them show it to you and show you their drawings, stories,
words, ideas, etc.  It may not look like much but there’s a lot of work
that went into these!  We do Writer’s Workshop every day for about 15
minutes.  WRITERS WRITE: letters, words, pictures, stories, and numbers.



We have an ART teacher now on Thursdays.  Ms. Christy.  We are learning
about warm colors (red, orange, yellow) and cool colors (blue, green,
purple).



In Garden this week, we planted FAVA BEAN seeds with Ms. Julia!



LOST SWEATSHIRT:  Please check your house for a sweatshirt labeled with “K.
LaDue” on the tag.



We’re very happy that Miss Ebony (Armondo’s Mom) is volunteering on
Thursday mornings.  If anyone else can volunteer once a week for an hour
please let me know.



Friday is SPORTS CLOTHES DAY!  I can’t decide whether to wear Giants or
49ers…
