** Celebrate National Ice Cream Day at SF Zoo!

Here's the scoop - if you love animals and ice cream, Scoop at the Zoo (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=3b1858c0ea&e=7683a9aed3) is the perfect excuse to visit your San Francisco Zoo & Gardens! At least a half dozen ice cream vendors like Three Twins and Bliss Pops, will be selling deliciously sweet treats around the Lion Fountain on Saturday and Sunday, July 15 & 16 from 11:00-3:00 pm, or while supplies last. Bring your friends and family and get your sweet tooth fix at SF Zoo's Ice Cream Festival!

Live Music at the Zoo
Stop by for Jungle Jams (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=4d7fd7dd97&e=7683a9aed3) , free outdoor concerts at SF Zoo's Depot eatery. Musicians play live sets from 12:00-3:00 pm, encouraging audience interaction and dancing. Have lunch at The Depot and stay to enjoy the ambiance, entertainment and fun. It's a jungle at SF Zoo, especially during Jungle Jams!

March of the Penguins
Saturday, July 29
One of our most popular annual events, March of the Penguins (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=bd6abecf10&e=7683a9aed3) , returns Saturday, July 29! Come watch our 5 adorable Magellanic penguin chicks waddle through the Zoo to their new home on Penguin Island. This morning event celebrates the chicks' graduation from “Fish School” where they lose their fluffy down, learn to eat whole fish, swim and accept food from their human keepers. Members can come into the Zoo early at 9:30 am to get a great seat and will have the opportunity to submit a name suggestion in a raffle for one of the chicks! After the ceremony, stay as long as you’d like for the Penguin Party!

Fur Ball
If you're up for a little adventure, consider attending Fur Ball 2017 (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=a4b0f79dc4&e=7683a9aed3) . This year's exclusive 21+ event is themed “Rock and Roar, Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Summer of Love” on Friday, September 15 at San Francisco Zoo & Gardens. Congratulations to our overnight program which was selected as one of the "Best of San Francisco" 2017 winners!
