Red, White & Zoo
July 1-4
Come celebrate Independence Day at SF Zoo, where we're welcoming an extra long weekend with Four Days of the Fourth! July 1-4 will be the best Red, White & Zoo (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=678db71e6e&e=7683a9aed3) ever. We're highlighting our "patriotic" animals with natural red, white and blue coloring, like red pandas, white pelicans and peacocks. Be sure to hit The Depot, an outdoor eatery, for a BBQ lunch and live "Jungle Jam" concerts each day from 12:00-3:00 pm. Additionally, meet and have your picture taken with animal costumed characters near the Elinor Friend Playground.

Jungle Jams
July 8-9
Jungle Jams (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=39a98c135c&e=7683a9aed3) at SF Zoo are free outdoor concerts, held select weekends at SF Zoo's Depot eatery. Bands and musicians play live sets from 12:00-3:00 pm, encouraging audience interaction and dancing. Have lunch at The Depot and stay to enjoy the ambiance, entertainment and fun. It's a jungle at SF Zoo, especially during Jungle Jams!

Scoop at the Zoo
Here's the scoop - if you love animals and ice cream, Scoop at the Zoo (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=b2260fab00&e=7683a9aed3) is the perfect excuse to visit your San Francisco Zoo & Gardens! At least a half dozen ice cream vendors like Bliss Pops and Twisted Chill, will be selling deliciously sweet treats around the Lion Fountain on Saturday and Sunday, July 15 & 16 from 11:00-3:00 pm, or while supplies last. Bring your friends and family and get your sweet tooth fix at SF Zoo during Scoop at the Zoo!

Ride your bike through SF Zoo on Saturday, July 15 at 8:30 am! The 90-minute bicycle tour is led by knowledgeable docents who share animal facts and insights. March of the Penguins
One of our most popular annual events, March of the Penguins (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=b400300326&e=7683a9aed3) , is happening Saturday, July 29! Come watch our adorable Magellanic penguin chicks waddle through the Zoo to their new home on Penguin Island. This morning event celebrates the chicks' graduation from “Fish School” where they lose their fluffy down, learn to eat whole fish, swim and accept food from their human keepers. After the ceremony, stay as long as you’d like for the Penguin Party!
