November is Neighbor Month!

We're Tickled Pink With 3 Chicks!
Flamingo chicks are hatching like hotcakes and the fluffy, white birds are just adorable! The first chick of the season hatched on October 2 and the next two both hatched on October 8. Since we are tickled pink at the birth of our 3 chicks, we are going “Pink for Pomeroy!”   Starting November 3, on #FlamingoFriday, SF Zoo will donate $1 to our neighbor, the Pomeroy Recreation and Rehabilitation Center (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=5ffcf46310&e=7683a9aed3) , for every person who wears pink to the Zoo. Fall and Winter Hours Begin
Sunday, November 5

The seasons are changing, and soon the clock rolls back one hour. SF Zoo will close at 4:00 pm beginning Sunday, November 5 for the fall/winter seasons. Last admission is sold one hour before closing time and last Member entry is 30 minutes before closing.

Winter Zoo Camp Registration Now Open!

At Winter Zoo Camp, (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=7bc2ae09ab&e=7683a9aed3) your camper will spend the week going on guided tours, meeting with animal keepers, playing fun games, making amazing crafts and learning about how animals survive the challenges of winter.  Winter Zoo Camp is open for children ages 4 years old through grade 5.

Reindeer Romp
Saturday, November 18

Santa is sending his favorite reindeer (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=588d43c4a2&e=7683a9aed3) , "Belle", "Holly" and "Peppermint" to spread holiday cheer at San Francisco Zoo & Gardens! Beginning November 18, majestic reindeer will be romping at SF Zoo's Playfield Lawn, near the spectacular Elinor Friend Playground. Celebrate the holiday season by visiting the animals that help Santa with all his special deliveries!
