Our male and female snow leopard cubs are doing great! They recently made their public debut, and they love exploring their new home. The cubs are out each day at noon with access indoors. At this time we can’t guarantee when they will be in their outdoor enclosure. SAN FRANCISCO ZOOMOBILE - READY TO ROLL!

Everyone’s favorite classroom guests are ready to spend another school year visiting classrooms throughout the Bay Area! The ZooMobile can travel up to 1 hour away from the Zoo and can visit up to 4 classrooms each day. ZooMobile curriculum is aligned with the Next Generation Science Standards and can visit classrooms of preschoolers, all the way up to college. Each lesson is 45 minutes and includes 3-5 live animal ambassadors, to keep students excited and engaged as they learn about animal science and conservation. ZOO CREW ORIENTATION
Saturday, August 25th, 10:00 am
San Francisco Zoo, Lurie Education Center, Osher Great Hall
Do you know a budding conservationist between the ages of 11 and 14? Come to our orientation to learn how to join our Zoo Crew! Crew members work hands-on with rangers, biologists, and horticulturists at Lake Merced, Mountain Lake, and the San Francisco Zoo & Gardens to restore local habitat, learn about our very own wild places and wild things, and get dirty! The orientation is free to attend and does not require admission or RSVP. Please note that we encourage prospective volunteers and a parent/guardian to attend together, and that parking is not included. Questions?
