ZOOLIGHTS BEGINS FRIDAY!

The most wonderful time of year is here as we present our annual ZooLights (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=47412cd7c5&e=7683a9aed3) celebration! Bring your family and friends to be a part of your new holiday tradition. Experience the magic and wonder of the season during this special evening event, featuring bright holiday light displays, Santa Claus and the only place around where you can see Santa’s reindeer!

Free admission Members and Guardians on Opening Night, Friday, December 14! (Special discounted admission fee thereafter.)

HELP NAME OUR REINDEER CALF!

Yes, they are real! Your favorite reindeer, "Holly" and "Peppermint" are back, along with a 6-month-old male to spread holiday cheer along! Guests visiting the Zoo now through December 19 can submit eligible names at the reindeer exhibit. We’ll compile all of the names and the winner will be announced December 21st, just before the Christmas holiday.

Plus, just for Saturday & Sunday, Dec. 22 & 23, come to visit the reindeer exhibit to see Santa and the newly named reindeer calf together from 12 noon to 3 p.m.; and get your own set of antlers to wear!

Join us at our wildly popular Zoo Camp for children ages 4 years old through 5th grade.  Campers will enjoy learning about how wildlife adapts to the challenges of winter through zoo tours, games, crafts and more. Bring your best questions for a knowledgeable docent, who can provide answers as well as fascinating insights into animal behavior.
