Presidents’ Day Weekend at SF Zoo & Gardens!
Celebrate the long Presidents' Day Weekend with a trip to SF Zoo & Gardens! Discover our Animals of America by checking out the Keeper Talks and feedings for North American animals like grizzly bears, sea lions and more. Spot and observe the national bird of the United States of America – the bald eagle. Other North American animals you can find include Mexican gray wolves, bobcat, wolverines and river otters!

SF Zoo Teen Volunteer Orientations
Interested in animals, science, or working with children? Want to spend your summer at the San Francisco Zoo? Orientations for our popular Nature Trail program, for teens 12-14 years old, will be held on 2/25 and 3/3 at 10:00am. Science Saturday Conservation Lecture
San Francisco's Presidio has undergone drastic changes throughout its history.  Come join Presidio Trust's Associate Director of Natural Resources Lew Stringer and Wildlife Ecologist Jonathan Young and hear more about the Presidio's past, present and future of landscape use, stewardship, and conservation on February 24 at 12:30 pm in the Osher Great Hall in the Lurie Education Center.
