 A New Safety Action Center for PG&E Customers

 Dear Valued Customer,

 We recently launched our

Safety Action Center, a new online tool that provides important information on how to improve safety in your homes, businesses, neighborhoods and communities. 

 The new website outlines important safety steps – like packing

emergency kits and creating evacuation plans, signing up for alerts, preparing for a potential power outage and many other important actions that will help make families and communities safer.

 One very important step outlined on the Safety Action Center is how to

make an emergency plan for your family – and then share that you have made a plan with your community. It just takes a few minutes to protect your family and your community by making an emergency plan. 

 To address the growing threat of wildfire we are taking immediate actions to keep our customers and communities safe, including accelerated safety inspections of electric infrastructure, creating greater clearances between vegetation and powerlines and upgrading our ability to predict dangerous weather and fire conditions, along with numerous other safety actions. As we work to improve our own safety response and upgrade our system, we want to make sure all our customers have the tools they need to protect their homes and families.
