Greenager Graduation at the Lake Merced Boathouse on January 26!
Join us for the graduation of our 2018 Greenagers class as we celebrate their accomplishments
in the community over the past year! The program offers teens from San Francisco
 a chance to play an important role in the community by improving our city's green
spaces and raising environmental awareness. The event takes place this Saturday,
 January 26 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Lake Merced Boathouse (1 Harding Road).

Public Budget Meetings on January 30 and February 4
Join us for one of two budget meetings to discuss preliminary plans for fiscal years

Helen Diller Civic Center Playgrounds Closures
The Helen Diller Civic Center Playgrounds will be closed this Saturday, January 
26 during the March for Life that will be occurring in Civic Center Plaza. The closures
are to preserve the integrity of the playground during large scale, adult-oriented
events. The playgrounds will reopen at the end of the event.

West Sunset Baseball Fields Reopen
Thanks to the warm weather this week, we have reopened the West Sunset baseball 
fields after both its winter closure and the recent rain storms. Be sure grab your
baseball mitt and hit the diamonds soon!

McLaren Community Garden Volunteer Days
We are nearing the end of construction for the McLaren Community Garden and are 
on track to finish up this spring! If you are interested in getting involved with
this project, volunteer to help us finish up the final work! We have volunteer works
days at the garden coming up including Saturday, February 2 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m!

Summer Resource Fair on February 9
Join us, the Department of Children,Youth Services, and Their Families (DCYF) and
the San Francisco Public Library for our Summer Resource Fair! The citywide event
takes place on Saturday, February 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the County Fair Building
(1199 9th Avenue). It will feature representatives from 150 summer camps, classes,
programs, and services for toddlers to teens. The Fair will also feature an activity
zone, the SF Public Library's Bookmobile, giveaways and fun!
In addition, there will be pop-up summer resource fairs throughout the city in the

Job Fairs in January!
The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, along with other government agencies
and community organizations, will host its final job fair this Saturday, January

Winter Fruit Tree Pruning at Alemany Farm
Swing by Alemany Farm this Saturday, January 26 from 10 a.m. to noon for the Winter
Fruit Tree Pruning workshop with instructors Jason Mark and Hannah Shulman. Learn
the basics of pruning fruit trees in this hands-on, interactive class! They'll focus

SF City Cats Close Out Home Schedule
Join the San Francisco City Cats at Kezar Pavillion (755 Stanyan Street) as they

Mothers Building Photo Exhibit
Swing by the San Francisco Main Library (100 Larkin Street) to view photos of the
Mothers Building by Richard Rothman! The exhibit runs until Friday, March 15 and
 features historic photos of the facility, which was built in 1925 and carries a
