Special Offer for Federal Employees

Lunar New Year
To commemorate the Year of the Pig, the San Francisco Zoo is thrilled to host Lunar New Year activities (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=7b5a65e39a&e=7683a9aed3) on February 9-10! Soak up the ambiance of the occasion and marvel at traditional Chinese lion and folk dance performances at 11 am and 1 pm near the Wolverine Habitat both days. Guests born in the Year of the Pig receive complimentary Zoo admission for the day.

Exhibit Expansion
On your next visit,  you will probably see some added construction going on around the Zoo. This week we break ground on a new expanded exhibit for our snow leopards. The exhibit will include a new outdoor space twice in size and height to the existing one, new rock wall for climbing and perching, new night quarters and sustainable landscape features.
Seeking Your Zoo Memories!
We want your Zoo memories for a Zoo Life display that will be part of an overall 90th Anniversary exhibit and for use as #TBT (Throw Back Thursday) social media posts. Video and digital photos can be emailed to marketing at sfzoo.org (mailto:marketing at sfzoo.org) , posted on social media with the hashtag, #SFZoo90. Additionally, photographs can be mailed to, San Francisco Zoo 90th Anniversary, 1 Zoo Road, San Francisco, CA 94132. Submissions should come with a brief description, including the year the photo was taken. Please note that the Zoo may not be able to send back the original, so a copy would be best. Orientations for our popular Nature Trail program, for teens 11-14 years old, will be held on 2/24 and 3/2 at 10:00 am. Orientations for our Talk on the Wild Side and Zoo Teacher Assistant programs, for teens 14-17 years old, will be held those same dates at 1 pm.
