New Classes JUST ADDED  Early Registration for BACT's Musical Theatre Summer Camps Ends February 1! Register Now! Little Performers Camp (Entering K - 1st Grades) Play games, sing songs, create characters, tell stories! In this one-week camp, we will explore theatre through fun activities that will help teach the basics of drama while engaging the imagination. The camp will finish with a final sharing on the last day of camp where all campers get to show off their new skills. Step on the Stage! - NEW CLASSES JUST ADDED! (Entering 2nd-8th Grades) Put on a show!!! This fun-filled musical theatre camp takes campers through an exciting rehearsals process as we prepare to put on a musical! Working with a director, choreographer, and music director, campers learn how to use their voices to tell stories in song, dance their hearts out, and creating characters that help with captivating storytelling. We focus on building a strong ensemble who support each other on and off stage and use the craft of theatre to help campers build life skills such as creative thinking and problem solving, empathy, and self-confidence. In addition to rehearsals, campers play theatre and improv games.kills. Improv Camps (Entering 3rd-6th Grades) In this one-week session, we will learn the hilarious skill of improvisation and storytelling. We will dive head first into the collaborative world of creating an original piece of theatre from the ground up! Through improv skills, theatre games, story building workshops and artistic collaboration, our young actors will construct their very own unique theatre experience. Each week will culminate in a final showcase for friends and family. Emphasis will be placed on building a strong ensemble and exploring artistic creativity. Broadway Dance Camps Dance into the spotlight in our brand new Broadway Dance Class! Your student will be introduced to the fundamentals of jazz technique and explore storytelling in the classic Broadway style. There will be a presentation of the dances learned on the last day of class. This class is open to students in grades 3-8. All skill levels welcome!
