Restroom Monitor Program Expands to Seven Additional Park Locations
San Francisco will dramatically boost the number of park restrooms staffed by trained
monitors, part of the City's commitment to improving quality of life in neighborhoods
most in need! The San Francisco Human Services Commission green-lit this past week
the expansion of our Park Stop program to seven new locations and extended the hours
of a monitor program already in place at an eighth park. Park Stop attendants will
be placed at Raymond Kimbell Playground, Dolores Park, Portsmouth Square, Rolph 
Playground, Potrero del Sol, Bayview Playground and Jackson Playground. The program
also adds evening staffing to the restroom monitor program at Victoria Manalo Draves
park. Sava Pool Reopens!
This past week our staff completed repairs to the Sava Pool and it is now open! 
With the pool temperature at a cozy 82 degrees, we look forward to seeing you back

Moscone Park Irrigation Project Complete
We're excited to share that the Moscone Park irrigation project has been completed!
The project updated the irrigation system with more efficient equipment, improving
the overall irrigation performance and reducing the amount of water used. Grab your

McLaren Community Garden Volunteer Days
We are nearing the end of construction for the McLaren Community Garden and are 
on track to finish up this spring! If you are interested in getting involved with
this project, volunteer to help us finish up the final work! We have volunteer works
days at the garden coming up including this Saturday, February 2 from 10 a.m. to

Summer Resource Fair on February 9
Join us, the Department of Children,Youth Services, and Their Families (DCYF) and
the San Francisco Public Library for our Summer Resource Fair! The citywide event
takes place on Saturday, February 9 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the County Fair Building
(1199 9th Avenue). It will feature representatives from 150 summer camps, classes,
programs, and services for toddlers to teens. The Fair will also feature an activity
zone, the SF Public Library's Bookmobile, giveaways and fun!
In addition, there will be pop-up summer resource fairs throughout the city in the
