As we continue to celebrate SF Zoo’s 90th Anniversary, we are opening our gates an hour early on weekends in May, so you have more time to explore the Zoo’s gardens, which are as exotic as our animals! We’re even offering a free guided garden tour (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=b3373ec5f3&e=7683a9aed3) on weekend mornings at 9:30 am with paid admission or valid SF Zoo membership to help you explore!

In addition, we are offering a special Animal Connection at 9:15 am on May 18, focusing on our amazing Nile Hippopotamus, Bruce! Make sure to head right over there as soon as we open so you can see how Bruce starts his day!
TA-DA Language Learning Party!

This Saturday and Sunday, May 18-19, we are partnering with TA-DA! (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=f1fec78c72&e=7683a9aed3) Language Productions to encourage kids to explore the magic of language and culture. Kids will delight in learning animal words and simple expressions in the 5 party languages of their choice (German, French, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and English) via storytelling, music, paper crafting and the very latest in paper electronics! New Adopt-an-Animal Packages!

In celebration of our 90th Anniversary, we added 14 new species to our Adopt-an-Animal (https://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=8afcd780ec&e=7683a9aed3) program, and we can’t wait for these animals to start finding new adopters. And as a special incentive to commemorate our 90th Anniversary, the first 90 people to adopt at the $100 Friend level or above after receiving this notice will receive an additional adopt package for free! (Free Adopt-an-Animal will be a surprise chosen by Zoo staff!)

SF Zoo Members receive FREE admission to the Exploratorium on May 18 & 19!
