Hardly Strictly Bluegrass This Weekend, October 4 to 6

Scaregrove on October 25
Scaregrove returns to Stern Grove (19th Avenue and Sloat Boulevard), on Friday, 
October 25 from 3 to 9 p.m. This year's event will feature a costume contest and

Golden Gate Park Traffic Safety Improvements Reach Milestone
Today, the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department along with District 5 Supervisor
Vallie Brown, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, the San Francisco
Bicycle Coalition and Walk San Francisco celebrated the last of 13 raised crosswalks
recently installed in Golden Gate Park to reduce speeds as part of the Vision Zero
initiative. The installation caps off three years of traffic calming measures in
 the park. The Golden Gate Park Traffic Safety Improvement Project also includes
 floating red curbs to deter illegal parking in the JFK bikeway, striping treatments
to slow turns, speed humps and cushions, hit posts, and median extensions. Thank

Golden Gate Park!

National Public Lands Day Celebration
Thank you to everyone who came out to the EcoCenter at the Port of San Francisco's
Heron's Head Park to help us celebrate National Public Lands Day this past Saturday.

Jose Coronado Indoor Soccer Registration
The World Cup might be over, but team registration for the upcoming season of the

Trail Corps Volunteer Day on October 5
Our Urban Trails Program invites you to join us for the third Trail Corps volunteer

tie for the men's single championship, Charlie Herbert won the championship game
 this past Saturday, his third championship in a row! This prestigious annual event
