All of us at the San Francisco Zoo and Gardens hope that you and your loved ones are healthy and safe during these unprecedented times.   Here at SF Zoo, our animals continue to thrive, thanks to the heroic efforts of our dedicated staff  – and thanks to YOU for your amazing financial generosity!

Our animal care team members tell us that our animals are all doing well but that they miss seeing our visitors and members! It costs SF Zoo nearly $30,000 a day to care for and feed our animals, and the vast majority of that money comes from admissions revenue.   With the Zoo closed indefinitely, we are relying almost entirely on donations to meet our operating costs.    We know that these are difficult financial times for everyone, but if you are able to do so, please make a donation in support of our animals now.
