But, we want to make sure that you have all the tools to make this event just as special as the in-person event. So here's a collection of ideas for dancing props, costumes and decorations that you can pull together while we all S.I.P. I promise, all of these items were collected from my house to make this list for you.

Ribbon Sticks
Make your own ribbon sticks. Look for unused ribbon in your holiday wrapping paper closet or take the ribbon off the old birthday present bags that you kept to reuse. Tape the ribbon to a marker and VOILA, ribbon stick!

Costumes
Collect all costumes that you can find in your house and put them in a laundry basket in the middle of the dancing space...don’t have any costumes...no worries...nothing better than wearing mommy and daddy’s clothes!

Scarf Dancing
Collect a pile of scarves to use for creative and exciting scarf dancing!

Ambiance
Get out those Twinkle lights!  It’s time to get the party started...possibly in your bathroom.  Find a room in your house that does not have windows, this can be your party central.  Bring your ipad or laptop to stream ET’s amazing mix and set the mood with Twinkle lights.  There is nothing better than the surprise of a familiar place being transformed with a lighting change.

Sunglasses
There’s nothing cooler than a pair of sunglasses, so collect all the sunglasses you can find...even that weird pair that you keep in the glove compartment and give them out to your little ravers!!  Bonus if you add in a pair of swim goggles! (Special thanks to my children for modeling this one.)
