Monthly Spotlight Mission Graduates Erika, a parent from Mission Graduates Mission Graduates (MG) , a K2C partner for six years, has been motivating parents to support their children’s journey to college with K2C. It has a Parent Partner Program or Promotoras, utilizing parent leaders to support outreach to families in the SFUSD schools. The leaders receive incentives from MG for the work they do with schools and can direct incentives into their children's K2C accounts. This is another way to motivate parents to support their children. Way to go Mission Graduates! We want to spotlight you and your story! Email us at k2c at sfgov.org with the subject "Saver Story" to tell us why you save, how you save, when you started saving, or anything else about you or your child's participation in K2C. Summer Outreach Although we’re working remotely, we’re still remaining active in the community this summer. We’ve held virtual sessions talking with Good Samaritans’ Latinx Program Coordinators and presented to YMCA Buchanan families who have students in its summer camps. K2C flyers have been distributed by NOW Hunters Point Food Bank so families can have access to K2C information. Let us know how we can better serve you and the community. Email us at k2csf at sfgov.org. Ask A Student Anyone can encourage a child's aspirations. We’ll provide a suggested question each month that you can ask students you know! This Month's Question: What have you learned from sheltering in place that will help you when you grow up?
