Volunteer for Golden Gate Park's 150th Anniversary Community Day

Conservatory Valley Closure February 14
The Conservatory of Flowers Valley will be closed intermittently to work on the 
foundation for the Rose des Vents art installation. Please use Conservatory Drive
West or Pompei Circle to access the Conservatory of Flowers when the valley's pathways
are closed. Scheduled closure days include February 14, 18-19, 24-25; and  March
 18-25. Once complete, this sculpture will have a permanent home in the park!

Buena Vista Park Meeting on February 24
Join us for the Buena Vista Park community meeting on Monday, February 24 at the
 Randall Museum (199 Museum Way) beginning at 6:30 p.m. We'll share the initial 
plans and cost estimates for the restoration of Buena Vista Park generated by Miller
Company Landscape Architects. Girls' Sports Survey
The San Francisco Recreation and Park Department wants to help get more girls involved
in sports. To assist us, please take this anonymous, three minute survey for parents/caregivers

SF Historical Society Essay Contest
In honor of the 150th anniversary of Golden Gate Park, the San Francisco Historical
Society is holding its second annual Fracchia Prize essay contest. The prompt is
 One Perfect Day in Golden Gate Park, where the contestant will choose a section
 of the park to explore and write a walking tour that stops at six to eight places,
telling the history of each stop. The first place prize is $2,500 and publication
in The Argonaut! EcoCenter Activities in February!

Crags Court Patio Build February 15

Pacific Orchid Expo February 20 to 23
