Updates, news and events in San Francisco parks Indoor Vaccine Requirements Beginning August 20 Beginning this Friday, August 20, all patrons of bars, restaurants, clubs, theaters, gyms, and large indoor events will be required to show proof of vaccination to enter. This will apply to our recreation facilities, which include, but are not limited to, our swimming pools and recreation centers. The new requirements do not apply to those who are ineligible for vaccinations, including children under 12 years old. For more information, click the link below. Indoor Vaccine Requirements India Basin Project Planning Survey The development of the India Basin Park project, located in the southeast corridor of San Francisco, is one of the most significant park projects in the city’s history. San Francisco’s newest waterfront park will deliver miles of winding shoreline trails, acres of restored tidal landscape and an abundance of recreation opportunities to the Bayview’s front porch. The public-private partnership between the San Francisco Recreation and Park Department, Bayview-Hunters Point community, the A. Philip Randolph Institute, the San Francisco Parks Alliance, and the Trust for Public Land seeks to both create a transformational public space and bring economic, cultural, and environmental benefits to the Bayview. Help participate in this important planning initiative for the India Basin Park project by taking the survey at the link below, organized by CCS Fundraising. Your input is greatly appreciated to help guide this project. Your responses are confidential. One person per household should complete this survey, which should only take 5-10 minutes. For additional information about the project, click here.
