We at Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) would like to thank you for your patience during Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) last year. We know how disruptive it is for customers to be without power, and we only use PSPS as a last resort for public safety to prevent major wildfires.

We know we still have a lot of work to do. We will continue to listen and work hard every day to prevent major wildfires and lessen the impact of PSPS events on our customers and communities. Some of our focus areas this year include:
