If you love Kids, Nature, and Education, we have the program for you! Come join us this Summer in Zoo Camp, as a Leadership Fellow. Spend the first part of the day assisting our Zoo Camp program as you play with the campers, helping to assist with activities, making crafts, and exploring the Zoo. During the second part of the day, you will split off from Zoo Camp and meet with other departments around the Zoo. You’ll learn all about our mission to Connect, Care, and Conserve as you go behind the scenes to see firsthand how the Zoo operates. You’ll also discover how departments work together, and of course see some animals up close.

The Leadership Fellows program is designed for teens entering 10th -12th grade in the Fall of 2024.

Application Process:
1. Online applications available on the Zoo website in early April.
2. Applications will be reviewed and accepted on a rolling basis.

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BY Tuesday, April 30.

Program Requirements:

1. Student must be entering 10th-12th grade in the Fall of 2024.

Program Logistics
* Where: San Francisco Zoo & Gardens
* Who: Teens entering grades 10th – 12th in the Fall of 2024
* When: June 17^th - August 9^th
+ Monday-Thursdays 8:30am – 3:30pm, and Fridays 8:30am – 1:30pm
+  2-week and 3-week sessions:  If selected, you will be assigned to one of the 2-week or 3-week sessions.
+ There is no program the week of July 4th.

There is no fee associated with this program.

This summer the San Francisco Zoo & Gardens is bringing back the
Nature Trail program for 12-14 year olds.
