Come Have Fun in the Rain at the Zoo!

While the forecast is calling for rain (and of course we need it!) don't forget that the Zoo is open rain or shine. For the wet days ahead, we have plenty of indoor activites to keep you and your family dry. During any rainy day this week the first 100 visitors will receive a FREE rain poncho. Plus, we will be hosting Holiday movies inside the Pachyderm Building and the Rockin' Ropes Course will be open as well. Also, the South American Tropical Rainforest and Aviary is a nice, warm spot to connect with exotic wildlife. So don't miss out on your next Zoo adventure!

For more adventure, come to the Zoo wearing any Star Wars 
paraphernalia this weekend and receive $1 off regular admission! Feel free to share your love of the "force" and enjoy discounted admission. Please note masks and light saber toys are discouraged. (Discount to Zoo Lights is not valid.)

Education Open House This Saturday 

This Saturday, December 19 from 5 pm-8 pm we will have an Education Open House in the Bernard Osher Great Hall of the Lurie Education Center. Bring the whole family for holiday crafts, movies, and hot chocolate before (or after) visiting the lights and activities at our Zoo Lights event.

It’s free to visit the Education Open House, but there is an additional fee for Zoo Lights.

As the holidays are in full swing, head on over to the Zoo for Zoo Lights (https://t.e2ma.net/click/ca1ph/o330mu/4fs0lc)! Starting tonight, Zoo Lights will run each day through December 23. While Zoo Lights will go dark December 24 - 25, it'll be open starting on December 26. Members receive $1 off the price of a Zoo Lights General Admission ticket...and don't miss the second Members Free Night to Zoo Lights on January 2!  Don't miss your chance to meet Santa, visit his reindeer and experience the magic of the Zoo under twinkling lights!
