 i'm at the *limit of my competence*. our girls will be
 four in july. we've had quite the scare with one of our
 girls having medical issues. it's been an
 extraordinarily stressful couple of years. (all of our
 pregnancy testing was negative.)good luck with your
 decision-making. it's so personal.

 Hi again, I think that you will want a car to stay in
 the area I described. The most appealing sites are
 small seatowns, usually hilly. The nice places to rent
 are on the hill and you will need transportation to go
 downtown or to the beach. You may want to look into a
 bigger flat place. But I don't know much about those in
 the area... Also you need to get there from Barcelona
 (BTW, the beaches in BCN are ugly, the only decent one
 I can think of is Castelldefels and it is not a
 vacation destination, is a nice BCN suburb south to the
 airport. The beach is tremendous, though) Close by also
 it Sitges, you may want to check that out becasue you
 can go there by train. Good luck. N.
