NEW Wellness 101 Camp
Animal wellness is the Zoo's top priority, with dedicated staff and a center devoted to the mission. Now, we're offering a new program, Wellness 101 Camp, for kids ages 12-15 years to learn about animal behavior and enrichment. This week-long class provides an overview of the mission and purpose of zoos, hands-on experience with animal care and an introduction to zoo careers. The next camp begins July 25. Global Tiger Day
July 29

Come celebrate our tigers during Global Tiger Day (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=b964626cf2&e=7683a9aed3) , an annual opportunity to highlight tigers around the world. SF Zoo has two tiger species, Amur and Sumatran. Learn the differences between the species and what makes each of our tigers unique by attending the 2:30 pm Keeper Talk. Watch the tigers play with special enrichment treats too!

Early Access for Members at March of the Penguins
July 30

One of our most popular annual events, March of the Penguins (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=17895f678a&e=7683a9aed3) , is happening Saturday, July 30 and Members can come into the Zoo early at 9:30 am to get a great seat! Come watch our two adorable Magellanic penguin chicks waddle through the Zoo to their new home on Penguin Island. The 10:15 am ceremony celebrates the chicks' graduation from "Fish School" where they lose their fluffy down, learn to eat whole fish, swim and accept food from their human keepers.

Pokemon GO at SF Zoo

New "creatures" spotted at SF Zoo! From "stops" and "gyms" to sloths and giraffes, we have 'em all! Wolf Canyon Now Open

Mexican gray wolves (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=342367b8bd&e=7683a9aed3) are HERE! Come visit our three wolf brothers in their large, newly refurbished and technologically advanced habitat! Learn the wolf conservation story and how the Zoo is helping grow the population of the most endangered wolf subspecies.

Wildlife Theatre
Every summer, Zoo visitors delight in watching Wildlife Theatre (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=6dba165caf&e=7683a9aed3) , a 20-30 minute show utilizing a variety of animals from birds to reptiles to tell interactive and entertaining wildlife conservation stories. Catch daily 1:30 pm or 2:30 pm performance now through August 12, then weekends only until September 5.

Family Overnight
Don't miss an unforgettable camping trip at the Zoo! August 20-21 is the next Family Overnight and it's filled with fun activities like pizza dinner and a guided nighttime tour of the Zoo. In the morning, wake to the sounds of monkeys and penguins before a continental breakfast and an early morning tour. Nature Trail
Take a walk along Nature Trail (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=969fad0479&e=7683a9aed3) and interact with more than a dozen small animals while learning conservation stories and fun facts from student volunteers. Come see how we've revamped our groundbreaking educational exhibit for the 40th anniversary! Located in the Exploration Zone, Nature Trail is open daily in the summer.
