Bear Cub Bonanza
After rescuing grizzly sisters Kiona and Kachina over 10 years ago, SF Zoo is very excited to welcome two new rescue black bear cubs.  Come celebrate our newest arrivals to Bear Country as well as our 10-year residents at the Bear Cub Bonanza (http://sfzoo.us12.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=05b8326f4402b997fe7a097e3&id=709ada2ce1&e=7683a9aed3) ! There will be a special Black Bear Keeper Talk at 11:30 where you can learn how our rescued residents are adapting to their new home!

Volunteer Orientation this Saturday!
Would you like to make a positive impact in our Zoo? Volunteering at SF Zoo can be a fun, educational and rewarding experience. We have volunteer opportunities in our Family Farm, Koret Animal Resource Center, Events and other Zoo departments. Learn more at our upcoming Adult Volunteer Orientation on Saturday, August 26!

Come help us welcome our favorite season... FALL! Kids will love going on an adventure in "Harvest Hallow" where they can navigate through our giant hay maze with play areas along the way and use our festive setting for photo ops. Our "Zoo Brew Haus" is perfect for all ages, with a great selection of brews, a full slate of German-inspired dishes and energetic live music at The Depot Grill. You may even want to get up and dance! Weekends only from September 16- October 29.

Ride your bike through SF Zoo on Saturday, September 16 at 8:30 am! The 90-minute bicycle tour is led by knowledgeable docents who share animal facts and insights. You'll love being in the Zoo ahead of the crowds and watching the animals begin their day. Registration covers the tour, admission and parking. Participants must bring a bicycle; the SF Zoo does not provide bicycles to rent.
