Spring and Summer Hours Start Saturday!
San Francisco Zoo & Gardens will begin “Summer Hours” on Saturday, March 10, with operating hours from 10 am – 5 pm.

Year of the Dog Celebration
Were you born in the Year of the Dog (1922, 1934, 1946, 1958, 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018)? If your answer is YES, then we have a special birthday gift for you: your one-day Zoo admission is FREE during the month of March! Enjoy our 100-acre park, conservation center, living classroom and Zoo for one day in March on us! Be sure to see our Mexican gray wolves – “prince”, “bowie” and “garcia” – in their world-class exhibit or spend time with our Black-tailed prairie “dogs” in our Youth Exploration Zone.  We do ask that you provide valid ID as proof of eligibility (as well as be courteous to other canines!).  Happy Birthday!

Summer Zoo Camp Registration: Now Open!
Summer Zoo Camp is the perfect place for your animal-loving child.  Campers entering Pre-K (must be 4 years old) to 5^th grade can enjoy up to three weeks of Zoo Camp fun and learning.  We also offer Conservation Camp for 6^th and 7^th graders and Wellness 101 Camp is open to campers ages 12-17.  You can find our brochure and more information about camp online.
