To All of Our Camp Families:
Thank you for registering for camp this summer! Please take the time to
read the following information with regards to the camp protocols this
year. They vary from our practices in the past so please be prepared for
some changes. You will be receiving a form as part of the weekly
reminder for each camp week that will ask you to acknowledge these
protocols. This acknowledgement form must be completed online in order
for your camper(s) to attend. For those of you who have signed up for
multiple weeks, a one time completion of any of the forms (releases - Webb
AND Jasper Ridge Farm - and the acknowledgement) is sufficient. When the
weekly reminder is sent, it will show the status of the completion of the
forms and any balance due remaining for that week. If a balance is due,
an invoice from Bill & Pay will be emailed to you for you to pay online.
Check or cash payments can be accepted at check-in on Monday but no credit
card payments in person will be available.

*Summer Camp COVID Protocols:*
- 1) Please take your camper's temperature before sending them to camp.
If any
camper feels sick or is acting unwell, please DO NOT come to camp. We
will send any camper home that is not feeling well.
- 2) Campers may be dropped off between 8:30 am and 9:00 am. The drop
location
WILL NOT be at the Lesson Office as normal. Please look for staff
directing you to the drop location as you enter the barn area. Campers will
be dropped off one car at a time.
- 3) Parents will drop off their camper(s) and then leave the area or
park by the
Lesson Office if they are staying for the duration of camp. Parents
MUST stay in their vehicles unless we request your assistance with your
child.
- 4) A face covering/mask is REQUIRED for all campers at all times while
not riding.
- 5) If your camper needs to borrow a helmet and/or boots, these will be
issued for their use for the full week. Borrowed items must be returned on
Friday at the end of camp. Campers are responsible for bringing their items
daily. Any unreturned items will be billed to your account so we can
purchase replacements.
- 6) Grooming materials will be issued on Monday to each camper. These
items must be returned on Friday at the end of camp. Campers are
responsible for bringing their items daily. Any unreturned items will be
billed to your account so we can purchase replacements.
- 7) No sharing of food or snacks between campers. FULL DAY CAMPERS -
There will be NO pizza lunch provided on Friday, please plan accordingly.
- 8) Hand sanitizer will be provided throughout the time at the barn.
Additionally, hand washing will be available in the bathrooms and at each
tacking area. Campers will be asked to wash or sanitize their hands
upon arrival, before and after any eating of snacks/lunch, upon returning
from the restroom, and when leaving for the day.
- 9) Campers will help to sanitize their equipment when they are done
riding each day. Materials for this will be provided.
- 10) Horses will be spaced apart for all ground instruction. Campers
will receive assistance from their instructors if they need help. Campers
will NOT be allowed to help each other.
- 11) We are unable to change camp groups once the week starts. If you
have any important information or requests these must be submitted by the
Friday before camp. Camp groups will be approximately 8 campers.
- 12) PICK-UP - Please remain in your vehicles. Morning *sessions *can
be picked up between 12:00-12:15pm. Full day *sessions* can be picked up
between 3:45-4:00pm. Pick-up *will be near* the drop-off location.
Please look for staff to help guide you.
- 13) FORMS AND PAYMENT - All forms must be completed online before the
start of camp. Payments can be made by cash or check the first day of camp
or paid via the online invoice that was sent to you. Please have ALL online
forms/payments completed by the Friday before the start of camp. No forms
will be available at check-in.
- 14) Cancellations - No charge for cancellations at any time. If you
know in advance that you will not be attending, please let us know ASAP so
we can plan accordingly. If you start a week but need to cancel for any
reason once the week is started, we can offer a pro-rated refund.
- *15) Our staff will be monitored daily with temperature checks.
Staff will wear a face*
- *covering at all times and regularly hand sanitize while helping the
campers. *
- *Understand that staff may have to physically assist campers and agree
to this.*
Thank you for reading through the steps we are taking to protect our
campers and staff. A COVID release is part of the acknowledgement form.
We reserve the right to implement further steps or changes if we see a
need. We look forward to seeing you this summer!
Please let me know if you have any questions.
All the best,
-
